AKTEKS, founded in 1984, became the leader of acrylic yarn industry in Turkey in less than 20 years by following new technologies and rising market demand. AKTEKS is supplying the knitting, weaving and carpet industries with the finished yarn from Nm2 to Nm50 primarily made of acrylic and blends at its five factories with an annual output of 60.000 tons of worsted and fancy yarn. With its factories, having a total floor area of 211.700 square meters, and 2.130 employees, AKTEKS exports 60 % of its output to various countries of Europe, Asia and Africa.
