We start with only the very finest natural fibers-native colour cotton. And create lustrus, refined pieces of the finest quality and workmanship available. The bags are woven by Master weavers of the North Peru region, using native cotton, a vine indigenous to the foothills on the Peruvian desert of Sechura. This art form is handed down through the generations and is unique to Peru. The bags are not made in a factory, the artists work from home in their villages. Bags can take up to 4 weeks to complete. Subtle differences in size, shape, weave, and finishes are part of the beauty of this handmade product.
