Business Description
AquaLimpia Engineering is a German company specialised in the design and construction of biogas and wastewater treatment plants. We commercialise our own brand AQLgen of gas gensets, and are exclusive distributors of a complete range of biogas equipment from renowned manufacturers.
The company was founded in 1995 and has since gained leadership in the Latin American market, thanks to the successful adaptation of the latest German biogas technology and know-how to the specific climatic and economical conditions of tropical countries.
We offer the following services:
- Supply and installation of components and equipment for biodigesters and utilisation of biogas (generators, ATEX certified blowers and flares, mixers, safety valves, H2S filters, condensate traps, etc.).
- Supervision of construction of biogas plants.
- Feasibility studies and detailed design for the construction of digesters and wastewater treatment plants.
- Conversion of existing oxidation lagoons into anaerobic digesters (supply and installation of bottom and deck membranes).
- Use of biogas for electricity production or as replacement of bunker fuel in boilers.
AquaLimpia has published biogas manuals in Spanish language, based on the practical field experience gained in the construction of several digesters. The books are available for purchase in electronic format on our corporate website. We have also developed two proprietary software: Biodigestor for the design and dimensioning of biogas plants, and UASBPlant for the sizing and drawings of domestic and industrial wastewater treatment plants.
