Aquaworx has developed a platform technology which can be used exemplary as a basis for other developments. The platform technology works by ingeniously combining UV radiation and ultrasound in one system, so that germs are effectively eliminated and their reproduction is prevented. Aquaworx developers are the first worldwide to have succeeded in using ultrasound and UV light efficiently and in line with the needs of customers. The technologies are designed in a way to allow both, large and small users, to find an economically justifiable solution for them. This flexibility is reflected in the size of the systems, which ranges from 10 m³/h to 8000 m³/h. The Aquaworx product family offers a wide range of applications in the water and filtration sector. The primary applications include the disinfection of drinking water and waste water treatment, the industrial filtration of process water (for example in cooling systems), the purification of ballast water in the nautical industry, the purification of pool, drinking and industrial water in holiday homes as well as the prevention of the formation of legionella bacteria in nursing homes, hospitals and hotel facilities.
