ArmorShield LLC is a member of the international ArmourShield, LTD group of companies headquartered in Manchester, UK with 28 years of experience in the armor industry. This expertise has resulted in high performance, ultra lightweight, flexible ballistic armor solutions competitively priced.
ArmorShield, LLC was formed in 2001 as its US manufacturer of body armor and fragmentation protective products and engaged Lockheed Martin to develop the US Military and Federal government sectors including State and Local Governments.
In July 2004, ArmorShield, LLC consolidated its manufacturing operations by relocating its headquarters and ballistics armor operations from Bridgeport, NJ to its Norvelt, PA Modular Tactical Carrier plant. ArmorShield will continue to manufacturer its coated ballistic shields and plates at its Johnstown, PA plant.
