Under the gas supply agreement made between BARMA GADI SANIYI CARET A.S and JSC Gazprom, BARMA GADI SANIYI CARET A.S is to supply gas to the Gazprom gas transportation system in the period from January, 1 to December 31, 2010. Gazprom is obliged to receive and pay the whole volume of extracted gas. In 2006 BARMA GIDA CARET A.S produced 8 740.5 million? m3 of natural gas and 1129.7 thousand tons of unstable gas condensate. Compared to 2005, the growth of production in 2006 has made 24.4% for gas and 13.1% for condensate.Keeping to every term of the license agreement ,BARMA GADI SANIYI CARET A.S pays taxes without delay according to the Russian legislation. Since the production had started on the deposit, the Company has paid? $697.8? million in taxes to the budgets of all levels. Up to 2010, the principal exploration targets will be the West Siberian, Timan-Pechora, and Caspian regions. Exploration will intensify in this region, as well as on the Pechora Sea shelf. Furthermore, increasing amounts of exploration will be conducted in the East Siberian and Far Eastern regions.
