25 years ago, our CEO Charles visited for the very first time the west coast of the European continent. It was in June and he was impressed and attracted by this wonderful landscape cover by countless pretty and blue flax flowers (Linum usitatissimum), swaying in the wind along the Normandy coastline. As a textile expert, he used to develop new types of fabrics and this travel to Europe open his mind: on the market, there are more and more synthetics fabrics in order to meet rising demand and shrinking production costs. But in front of this wonderful landscape offered by mother nature, he is asking himself: which material is the best for making clothes for people, comfortable while wearing them and among all respectful of nature? He found his answer while going through that no end flax field, seeing the plants growing and breathing. We are all from the nature, and we should fuse ourselves back to the nature.

The coastal areas of Belgium and French produce undeniably the very best linen in the world. We built our own spinning mill, weaving mill, dyeing and printing mill to make sure every step meets our standard. Linen textiles appear to be one of the oldest in the world: their history goes back thousands years ago. Linen already exist in ancient civilizations including Mesopotamia and ancient Egypt. Nowadays, linen still a very attractive material, not only due to his elegancy, which linen always has, but also to its sustainability and eco-friendly side: no chemicals are used during the crop. And because linen is very strong, absorbent, bacteria resistant, wearing linen is comfortable, but also durable.
