Cruise the award-winning coastline on a stand-up paddleboard, not to be confused with the also-available paddleboats. This adventure is perfect for beginners who want to explore the Gulf’s beauty or for athletes who want to paddle their way to a great core workout.

What could be more relaxing than sunning on a giant raft – big enough for four – while floating gently in the Gulf?

Floating Loungers can be rented at the Cabana Hut located at Island Grand and RumFish Beach.

Relax, kick back and kick off the evening by our fire pit. Roast marshmallows and savor the classic flavors of that perfect s'more! Nightly from 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. in The SandBox beach lounge, weather permitting.

Each room can enjoy the use of a beach cabana as part of the value-packed resort amenity fee, and guests can rent additional cabanas (subject to availability).  Starting at 9:00 a.m., visit the Cabana Hut located on the beach to get your cabana. Our friendly beach services team will assist you with your cabana assignment. Front row cabanas may be reserved for $15 if available.

When the sun drops below the horizon, it’s time to mellow out at the pool, grab a raft, jump in or sit poolside to watch a feature film on Island Grand’s inflatable big screen at the resort’s beachfront pool.

Hop aboard a paddleboat and explore Island Grand's meandering waterway that is home to our resident ducks, herons and egrets. Paddleboats are located by Pirate Island at Paddleboat Landing. Paddleboat rides are included in the resort amenity fee.

Plunge even deeper into the Tanked aquarium experience. "Swim with the Fishes," a snorkeling adventure and behind-the-scenes tour of the 33,500 gallon aquarium. Swim with more than 200 fish representing 31 species, including a green moray eel!

Are you ready for a new adventure! If you’re ready to soar 300 feet above the sea on a parasail, while getting a birds eye view of beautiful St. Pete Beach, then parasailing is for you. Book your reservation today; spots fill up quickly!

What’s three stories tall, 200 feet long and can make a totally cool teenager squeal with delight? The High Tide Water Slide — a three-story inflatable slide located beachfront at Island Grand. Unlimited rides are included in the resort amenity fee. Guests must be at least 45" tall.

Test your balance on the Surf WipeOut, an inflatable surf simulator. Located beachfront at Island Grand, registered guests can enjoy unlimited rides. Included in the resort amenity fee.

Hold sea urchins and other critters. Learn interesting marine trivia and gain an appreciation for sea life during this hands-on, kid-friendly exhibit. This experience is limited to two 1-hour sessions so our critters can rest. Located in the Outfitter Shop at RumFish Beach.

Join Captain RedBeard at Pirate Island for a treasure chest of family adventure, fun contests and belly laughs. Our resident pirate entertains swashbucklers of all ages, while kids can learn how to make their own sharktooth necklace or buccaneer beads!

Join us at Shelldon's Adventure Club and make some awesome souvenirs to take back home. Choose a beach-themed ceramic to paint, create your own seaside picture frame or seashell night light. Price varies based on craft: $8-$25.

Shelldon's Adventure Club offers kid's camps during day and evening hours so parents can unwind and relax. Adventure Camp offers the perfect blend of learning and leisure where kids can explore marine life and resort activities. Kid's Night Out offers campers an evening with our trained counselors creating crafts and exploring resort activities. Both camps are for ages 5 - 12. Fees apply.

What could be more relaxing than a covered floating cabana complete with a table and a cooler of ice. Let your kids jump and climb while you relax in the shade. The table is rock solid and ready for food and drinks! AquaBanas feature a non-slip top surface and comfortably seats 8-10 adults. Cooler of ice provided.

Dive Into The Vibe! at the Beachfront Pool located at Island Grand. Put your game face on as our Activities Crew shows you how to turn up the fun!
