Thanh Phu Plastic Packaging JSC is a family-owned and operated business in Vietnam. With a seamless production process, we provide flexible packaging solutions from plastic resin to finished packaging for the consumer market.

Thanh Phu is recognized as one of the global pionees in producing and promoting mono-material packaging solutions that enable multi-layer packaging to be recycled-ready or recyclable wherever infrastructure is available. Our award-winning proprietary Veloflex™ technology provides our customers with premium features packaging while addressing their sustainability mandate.

Established in 1992, our company has come a long way from its humble beginnings with 20 staff and a small factory. Today, we proudly boast a worforce of over 600 and two state-of-the-art factories in the Ho Chi Minh metropolitan area.

What is our focus on Recyclable Packaging?

Veloflex™ is our solution for recyclable packaging. It is a fully recyclable LDPE#4 plastic film, which is polyolefin-based mono-PE material. We have invested in both a new plant and new equipment to be able to produce this film that offers performance, appearance, and competitive pricing. The decision to invest in the technology proves our focus to the technology and to protecting our environment.

Thanh Phu always want to be a part of solution to minimize the impact of our footprint to environment and therefore we aim for zero-waste in our plant. Our Veloflex™ technology is a big solution for recyclable packaging. We also prioritize for reuse and rot in the plant. We’re on the road to achieve zero-waste status. We’re not there yet but our top priority is to go further.

In our efforts to promote sustainability, we place a high importance on utilizing renewable resources to reduce our environmental impact. We have implemented a solar enery system on the factory roof, playing a vital role in minimzing the carbon footprint caused by electrictity production from coal and natural gas. Our biobased pouch, approved for the How2Recycle Store Drop off program, is made from renewable biopolymer to support the decrease of fossil fuel-based polymers.

At all time, we strive to fulfill the market's need for sustainable alternatives to traditional laminated films structures, which often consist of BOPA, BOPET, and BOPP with a layer of either polyethylene (PE) or polypropylene (PP). Designed for maximum sustainability, our Veloflex™ pouches are made from a single material LDPE#4, allowing for easy recycling in both traditional mechanical and advanced chemical recycling methods, promoting a cradle-to-cradle mindset. Our recyclable products using Veloflex™ technology has obtained ready-to-recycle certifications from prestigious organizations such as GreenBlue, Interseroh, APCO and proudly received sustainablity awards from European Rotogravure Association and World Packaging Organization.
