Descrizione: Progetto finalizzato all’identificazione di nuovi composti di origine naturale utilizzabili per il loro potenziale antimicrobico in terapia umana (AMPs) e come conservanti nella filiera produttiva cosmaceutica (estratti vegetali).

Obiettivi: L’obiettivo di questo progetto è l’identificazione di peptidi (AMPs) ottenuti da insetti e di composti vegetali ottenuti da piante e frutti del bacino mediterraneo per valutare la loro attività antimicrobica al fine di avviarli allo sviluppo di nuovi farmaci per la terapia umana (AMPs) e di conservanti per il settore cosmaceutico (estratti vegetali).
