BioUrja Trading is the largest and oldest company within the BioUrja Group.  Initially founded to supply physical bioethanol to the U.S. refining industry to help boost octane and reduce overall carbon intensity, BioUrja Trading has since evolved as a leading supplier of industrial alcohol, beverage alcohol, and corn oil, in addition to maintaining its strong presence in the biofuel supply and trading sector.   We count every major refining company as our customer, helping lead the way towards energy transition, as well as most of the largest international trading houses and wholesalers.  We now are renowned globally in the energy industry, with a reputation for exceptional service and reliability in delivering physical commodities anywhere.

BioUrja Terminals & Land develops energy commodity logistics solutions that add value and improve efficiency in the physical supply chain. Our business is concentrated around the safe and reliable operation of ethanol, and “clean” natural gas liquids, storage and transloading terminals.

Currently, BioUrja Terminals & Land owns and operates the BioUrja Port Allen Terminal, the only natural gas liquids terminal adjacent to the Baton Rouge Fractionator facility; and a full service transloading facility in Port Barre, Louisiana.

We also make fuel ethanol, a green additive to gasoline that helps boost octane, and we produce corn-based oils used in renewable diesel. That’s our way of contributing to the energy transition from fossil fuels to green fuels.
