Blos Shower Agro is one of the largest integrated platforms for fruit and vegetable processing in Karnataka. The company, via its unique inclusive partnership with farmers, has built a strong capability over the years in areas of primary processing of Gherkins, Chilli and other vegetables in bulk. 

Changing the lives of 5000 farmers with contract farming in four states: Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, and Andhra Pradesh. Impacting the lives of 20,000 people, producing around 10000 MT of gherkins and other vegetables. Employing 300 local farm resources, bringing impeccable changes to 12,000 lives.

What makes us different from others is our focus on quality, flexibility, and organisation culture, which reflects from top to bottom, from conference rooms to shop floors. We are specialists in the cultivation, pickling, and preservation of fruits and vegetables grown under contract farming.

Our products occupy the plates of food lovers situated in the USA, Chile (South America) France, Germany, Australia, China, mainland Europe, Russia, the Middle East, South Africa, North Africa, Egypt, Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia and brings the smile to their face. 

Our contract farming is done in Hub and Spoke model, with adherence to package of practices for usage of pesticides and fertilizers meeting USFDA and European union (EU) guidelines / regulations.

We spray crops using drone technology, which provides accurate field mapping, including elevation information, allowing our farmers to detect any irregularities in the field. It is useful in determining efficient watering techniques.

50% of our sprawling facility is dedicated to forest land, water bodies, and grassland. This has helped us to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. We have dedicated storage for finished goods, spreading to a whopping 175,000 sq ft, which can store 3000 MT. Apart from spacious raw and packing material stores, the facility is equipped with ETP to treat the effluent and comply with government requirements.

The production line is equipped with grading machines, conveyors, washing machines, retort machines, and media preparation tanks. Cold rooms to ensure the freshness of crops during peak production hours and to keep the stock in suggested storage conditions. We are the only company to have sophisticated and automated cleaning equipment supported by internationally acclaimed cleaning experts.

Blos Showers Agro is run by experienced quality professionals with more than 50 years of core Gherkin experience. Quality and food safety systems are laid down as per the global food safety standards. The factory is certified for global quality standard: FSSC 22000, Kosher, registered with USFDA, etc.

We have been audited by many customers and third-party agencies to ensure food safety and quality standards for their private label production.
