Blue Diamond Leders, was established in 1995 by Mr. Kumaresa Pandian, a seasoned Leather Technologist with over 45 years of industry experience. It is a leading supplier of finished leathers to prominent European footwear brands. The corporate office is based in Chennai Metropolis with 3 state of the art tanneries in Chennai and Ranipet.
Our Tannery in Ranipet has been awarded the Gold rating from LWG. It has a monthly production capacity of 1.5 million Sqft of finished leather, and employs a highly skilled and experienced workforce.
One of our social responsibilities that we value to the core along with Occupational Health and Safety, is our commitment to sustainability and ecological harmony. We are a member of Ranitec Effluent plant, an initiative dedicated to achieving Zero discharge of tannery waste by 2025.
Apart from the Gold standard accreditation by LWG, we were also awarded a “Plaque” by the Council for Leather Exports in India, for outstanding performance for two consecutive years
We are committed to continuous improvement in our processes and practices that meet global standards, and our strong R&D team is focused in implementing and delivering the latest tanning and leather finishing technologies.
Prime Shoes, one of our business units is engaged in manufacturing Shoe uppers for leading European players. It is headed by Mr. Karthik Pandian, who has a great business acumen and holds a Post Graduate degree in Leather Technology.
We have a large clientele from Germany, Italy and Portugal; with whom we share a strong and healthy business relationship.
We have been awarded the “Gold” Standard by LWG (Leather Working Group).
We have been awarded “Plaque” by the Council for Leather Exports in India, for outstanding performance in the field of Leather Exports to the tune of US$ 15 Million and above during the financial year of 2017-18, 2018-19, 2019-20.
