Business Description

A Sustainable Family Farm

A Sustainable Family Farm

Bwogi Farm is a second generation, family-owned and operated, farming high quality exotic Boer and Indigenous goats and dorper sheep, produce indigenous bananas (matooke), located in Rakai District, Central Uganda. We are cultivators of the land, creating a place we call home, and sharing our journey with others.

In 2021 we supplied 20 free exotic males to farmers around the farm who in turn sell to us females and castrates at competitive prices if we need a big purchase of goats.

We deal with indigenous breeds which we cross breed with Boer goats to have a breed that is resistant to local diseases and matures faster.

We are capable of handling your order and supply large quantities.

We are great at communication, listening, adaptability to suit our customers’ needs.

Farmers trained in 6 years

Our goats are raised on natural fresh shrubs with a few supplements for the kids and pregnant does.

We have a 22-acre banana plantation of our indigenous types namely; kibuzi, musakala, and mbwazilume.

We have trained over 6000 farmers physically and virtually for the last 6 years.

In 2020, we started to mobilise farmers all over East Africa to pool resources and import Boer goats and dorper sheep from South Africa.

This is our new project that we rolled off in February 2022 with a few indigenous sheep sourced from the villages around us.

Our outdoor messy play area at Bwogi farms is ready and waiting and the animals are here to say “hello” in the fields!

Business Overview

Avg Response Time

≤ 1h

In agriculture, having verified business documents and contact details is crucial for building trust with international buyers. For BWOGI FARMS LTD, the lack of verification on work email, phone, and business documents raises concerns about legitimacy and responsiveness. Buyers should request additional proof before placing any orders. Without verified staff count or annual turnover, it's hard to assess the company's scale or financial stability. These missing details make it difficult to evaluate whether BWOGI FARMS LTD can reliably handle large or long-term supply contracts. Always verify a supplier's credentials before engaging in trade, especially when no official documentation is confirmed.
