Since 1993, we have bought land to build our plant and had our own plant. In 1994, we have cooperated with US-Yousheng Pacific Investments Company and found Chengde Beiguang-Yousheng Instruments Co., Ltd with a registered trade mark €˜Beiguang-Yousheng€™. And €˜Beiguang-Yousheng€™ had been put into production on Oct.8, 1994. In 1998, we had applied and was approved to build a sound ISO9001 quality assurance system and awarded €˜quality assurance (control) system€™ certificate early. In Nov., 1999, we moved our plant from Hebei Chengde to Beijing Tianzhu Airport industry zone and the name of our company changed to €˜Beijing Airport Beiguang Instruments Co., Ltd€™. By then our first €œFive-Year Plan€ had been achieved. Since Nov., 2004, we had bought 11, 000 m2 lands and expanded the plant to 8, 150 m2 and moved to the new plant in Nov., 2006. The total investments for expanding plant and buying of the new equipments was 41.80 million RMB and thus the second €˜Five-Year Plan€™ had been achieved. The important manufacturing equipments were purchased from international producers. The digital controlled lathe center has adopted the equipment from DMG-Germany; drill and thread processing center has adopted the equipment from Japan Brother Company; fully automated circumference argon arc welding machine has adopted techniques from JETLINE, ESAB-Sweden, PANASONIC-Japan; the fully automated sawing machine has adopted techniques from MEP in Italy. The flow calibration system is classified into standard scale method and weight method: the water flow checking system adopts the most ancient water tower pressure-stabilizing method with a 30 meters high water tower and very high investment. Though the method is very old, the water flow required for calibration is very stable with a speed of 10 m/s and a peak flow of 12000 m3/h.
