Biostarch is a Chinese/Swiss company. We produce opaque films from Maizestarch and Polyvinylalcohol which are biodegradable, compostable and clear water-soluble. The solubility in water may be adjusted according our customer needs varying the dissolving temperature between 10°C up to 90°C. The production process was developed bythe University of Beijing and worldwide registered by us. Furthermore we produce clear water-soluble transparent films from pure PVA. They are available as common film, stretch film or shrinking film. Our films are used to manufacture bags and other packaging materials but also to protect sensitive surfaces of many different products. Various industries pack powder form materials in exact portions which may be brought into water together with the packaging for dissolution. Typical applications are the packaging of dishwashing tablets, construction fibers, chemicals, etc. Bags printed or non-printed are available upon request.
