Business Description

Bosphorus Cymbals has established in 1996 by three master cymbal smiths, Hasan Seker, Ibrahim Yakici and Hasan Ozdemir. They are called as Masters because they are the most experienced cymbal smiths in Turkey who are still working actively.

The founders of Bosphorus, were three good friends who grown up in the same neighborhood. Their common feature was to being sent to work in a cymbal workshop in their neighborhood. They started with simple things like cleaning the workshop or carrying stuff around but in time they have been trained about making cymbals and in the early ages of their youth they became cymbal smiths. Their teachers were the masters who manufactured the legendary cymbals of 60s and 70s.

They quit from the company after 16 years because of some disagreements with their bosses and established their own company. But even today they have good relationships with their former employers. Masters never gave up showing respect to their teachers.

Today our company has 17 cymbal smiths and 8 of them is being trained since the first day. The Masters are still working in the workshop together with their workers and guiding them to create the perfect cymbals with their nearly 30 years of experience.

Business Overview

Avg Response Time

≤ 1h

Bosphorus Cymbals has been operating since 1996, giving them long-term experience and stability in the music instrument market. Being headquartered in Turkey offers strong access to both European and Middle Eastern markets, where demand for high-quality gong and cymbals is steady. Their product range of gong and cymbals is well-suited for professional musicians and performance groups. However, no email, phone, or document verification is available — this raises concerns about business legitimacy and makes it harder to trust their claims. Buyers should request additional proof, such as a company registration or a recent invoice, before placing any large orders. Without verified contact details, communication and order follow-up may be slow or unreliable. The lack of verification is common in some trade directories, but it's a key risk when dealing with new suppliers.
