At the beginning of the 20th century, around 1900, in one of the hills of Linha Leopoldina (today Vale dos Vinhedos), a solid stone cellar was built, which was used as a point for grape growing and harvesting. In 1926, the upper floor is built, which in the future would become Casa Madeira, more precisely in 1992, when Casa Valduga acquires the property and together with it, the commitment to maintain the patrimony. It began its activities producing Pure Grape Juice with the 40 hectares of American Vines that remained after the conversion of the vineyards to European grapes, cultivated until today.
