CEC Rare Earth Corporation ("REC") was recently founded by Canada Export Centre Corporation in alliance with two of China&＃039;s most accomplished businessmen in the rare earth industry, to integrate China&＃039;s dominant rare earth industry with international markets. We have 3 complementary businesses: - Through our Chinese alliances, we offer world class expertise in rare earth refining consulting, design, construction and operations. This is the critical knowledge gap and roadblock to achieving supplies of rare earth elements outside China. - REC has close and direct relationships with refineries in China controlling over 2, 000 tons of rare earth export quotas for immediate supply. Our supply capability will grow through a supply agreement outside China in 2012, and through our own production in the future, enabling REC to enter long term, secure supply contracts. - REC will utilize the knowledge of our advisors to acquire and trade inventories and to assess investment opportunities and partnerships where they appear. Refinery Services REC is under contract to acquire a 10% interest in and secure exclusive international marketing rights for a leading rare earth engineering firm from China. This firm has built 10 rare earth refineries completely and assisted with the construction of 10 others, over the past 25 years, all but one current project situated in China. This arrangement will allow REC to market refining services internationally, including: - Initial project consulting ; front end engineering, ; facility design, - project management, - matching mines with refineries Rare earth refining is extremely complex and experience is needed to avoid huge problems in capital costs, construction time, operating efficiency and environmental performance. REC can offer invaluable experience with a myriad of issues, refining processes and technologies to fit raw materials and output.
