Business Description

The Château du Garde... the tale of a family since 1925. The Château du Garde is located in the Côtes de Bordeaux appellation area, and its terroir is ideal for producing great Bordeaux wines. The Château du Garde has amassed unique expertise over four generations. As independent winemakers committed to the environmental cause, the Château du Garde has engaged in a sustainable development approach and was awarded High environmental Value Level 3 (HVE 3) certification in 2019. All our wines were tasted by Paolo Basso and Paz Levinson, two of the world's most respected sommeliers, and were mentioned several times, for instance in Sommeliers International, but also in Terre de Vins, and one of them (Cuvée Odette 2009) beat a Saint-Émilion grand cru classé to win a blind tasting award at La Plateforme Lyon in 2018.
