CHEVIDECO

Most suppliers in the horse meat sector are small producers or farms focused on direct processing, not wholesale distribution. This company, with 11–50 employees and operating in Belgium, fits a different model — acting as a distributor or wholesaler, which means it likely sources from multiple producers and resells to retailers or food service buyers. Being based in Belgium gives access to a well-established EU market with strict food safety and labeling rules. The lack of verified phone, work email, or documents raises concerns about legitimacy and responsiveness — buyers should request additional proof before placing large orders. While the core products like value-added horse meat are niche, the wholesale model offers a more scalable and predictable supply path than direct farm-to-market. Without gross revenue data, it's hard to assess scale or financial stability, which is a key factor in long-term trade relationships.
