Business Description
Welcome to Choice Coffee Co Ltd, a company dedicated to providing high quality coffee sourced from small holder farmers on the slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro.
Founded in 2006 by Rose Swai, a Coffee Farmer's daughter - Choice Coffee Co. Ltd is the first woman-owned and woman-run coffee roaster in Tanzania. Right from the start, we've always believed in supporting our coffee farmers and promoting sustainability practices to ensure the continuous availability of high quality coffee. We work with small holder farmers who use sustainable farming practices, such as Organic Coffee, shade-grown coffee, composting and water conservation techniques. We also work with our farmers to promote gender equality, providing support and resources to female farmers and encouraging their participation in ownership and leadership roles on the farms.
In addition, we are committed to promoting gender equality at our roastery and throughout our supply chain. We provide equal opportunities and fair compensation for all employees, regardless of gender.
At Choice Coffee Co Ltd, we believe that sustainability is not just good for the environment, but it is also good for business. We are committed to promoting sustainable practices throughout our supply chain and working with our farmers to promote the long-term health of their farms and the environment. By working together with our farmers and suppliers, we are able to provide high quality coffee to our customers which has been sourced from farmers who employ sustainability practices that are environmentally responsible, economically viable and socially equitable.
We take pride in the quality of our coffee and the impact we are making in the lives of our farmers and communities. We invite you to try our Arabica coffee and taste the difference that sustainability and social responsibility can make. Thank you for choosing Choice Coffee Co Ltd.
