Trained as a dancer in Seoul, Korea, Christine went on to study at the San Francisco school of ballet before moving to Hong Kong in 1979 to begin a career as an airline cabin crew member. Her new job provided Christine the chance to travel extensively and stimulated her interest in visiting private galleries and great museums around the world. She also began collecting art, household items and furnishings from chic galleries and fashion centres across Europe and Asia and over the years continuously added to her extensive collection. Friends, who have visited over the years her various homes in Hong Kong, repeatedly complimented her on her taste and refinement and avidly encouraged Christine to be enterpreneurial and share her lifestyles concepts with others. For Christine, once the idea was instilled, there was no turning back, and on May 6, 2005, christine lifestyles gallery was established.
