China Electronics Technology Group Corporation No.22 Research Institute (CETC22, another name: China Research Institute of Radiowave Propagation), was founded in 1963. Our cooperation has staff of over 1600, with one academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering, 40 researchers and over 300 senior engineers.

CETC-22nd has been dedicated to the research and development of petroleum electronics including mud logging units and well logging tools with a history of over twenty-eight years. From the research on Acoustic and MSFL in the very beginning of 1980s till the research on data acquisition system and mud logging unit, CETC-22nd has experienced a development history starting from scratch, going from small scale to large scale, and from development of single tools to industrialization.

Now, CETC-22nd has established a whole research, development and production system of petroleum electronic products. The core of the system is Petroleum Electronics Department, which is supported by manufacturing plant and electronic assembly workshops. The major business covers production of four series of petroleum electronics with over 100 products, including downhole tools, data acquisition systems, mud logging units and EM-MWD systems. We have grown to be one of the main suppliers with full lines of petroleum electronics in China.

Short History:

-CETC-22nd, founded in 1963;

-OH down tools R&D started in 1982;

-Designed & manufactured the first Mud logging unit in China, in 1990;

-Designed & manufactured the first Data Acquisition system in China, in 1991;

-Designed & manufactured the most advanced logging platform in China, in 2004;

Designed & manufactured the first EM-MWD system in China, in 2009.
