- Company history Feb.28, 1995: Established Chong-Ho Electric Tech. Co., Ltd. Acquired Electrical works class 1 license. Selected as a power transmission and transformation technology provider by KEPCO. Dec. 1995: Selected a best substation equipment inspection and maintenance provider by KEPCO. Jan. 1996: Started joint research with KEPCO Test Team regarding the major causes of the failure of super-power transformer circuit breakers. June 1999: Concluded Technical Cooperation Agreement with KEPCO for the purpose of investigating into the causes of the 154KV or higher class transformers and improving the quality of oil filter units. Dec. 2000: Proved through numerous tests at site that the major causes of the failure of the OLTC protective relays were the bubbles created on pumps. May 2001: Concluded Total Technology Transfer Agreement with Kato of Japan. Developed high-performance filters compatible with the existing OFU products. (CH-40-1 type) Jan. 2002: Proved bubble-free and high-performance infiltration in the presence of KEPCO and public inspection agency personnel. Feb. 2002: KEPCO decided to remove existing products for replacement with the products of Chong-Ho. Oct. 2002: Acquired domestic Utility Model patent. Dec. 2002 KEPCO approved the quality of Chong-Ho products. March 2003: Changed the company to Chong-Ho Electric Tech. Co., Ltd. with addition of new business lines. (Technical manufacturing business) May 2003: Applied patent for technology of removing metallic substance in full by using OFU permanent magnets. Aug. 2003 Acquired ISO 9001:2000 certification for OFU.
