The Christensen Urns are hand crafted in the work shop of Tim Christensen.He learned his way around a shop at the side of his father, a high school shop teacher.The Navy Seabees taught him the basics of construction while serving overseas during the Vietnam era.After his return home,he spent the next twenty years honing his craft and becoming proficient in the construction trades, but he realized the time spent in his work shop was the time he enjoyed the most.The first Christensen Urn was made as a memorial to his father. The two toned Urns are hand crafted from select woods and are uniquely different from each other. This difference, plus the dovetailing, hand sanding, and polishing, makes an urn that stands apart from other available products. They weigh 4 to 5 lbs.,measure 10"L, 8.50"W, 7"H, with an inside measurement of 243 cubic inches. They will accept crematorium plastic containers.
