Citizen seafood

Citizen Seafood has been in business since 1900, which is unusually long for a modern seafood agent — suggesting deep roots in the industry and possibly long-standing relationships with suppliers or buyers. Operating as an agent means they likely act as a middleman, helping buyers source squid without handling production or logistics themselves. With only 1–10 employees and a gross revenue of $5–10 million, the company is small in scale but has decades of experience, which could be a strong trust signal for buyers looking for reliability. The lack of verified phone number and business documents raises a red flag — buyers should verify the company’s legitimacy before placing large orders. While the product range is limited to squid, this focus may allow for niche, specialized supply chains. Having a verified account email is a positive step, showing at least some level of digital credibility, but it doesn’t replace the need for full verification of contact and documents.
