Welcome to Coirtron
We are a 40 year old family run enterprise with a presence in Coir, mining, apparels & clothing industries. The promoters are a family of technocrats who hail from a rural background and have gained a diverse international exposure over the last few decades. Coirtron is the rebranded venture of a 40 year old establishment to keep in pace with the changing times.
We intend to produce a wide variety of value added coir products in the near future.

It was started in the name of National Coir & Fibres and S.A Coir Industries by Mr.S.Abubacker in the year 1976 who was an Electrical Engineer by qualification serving the then Government of Tamilnadu. This was one of the first few coir processing industries to be started in this part of the country at the time of inception.
Presently, the industry is managed by the 3rd generation of the family.
Mr.A.K.Riyaz Ahmed is currently overseeing the Operations and Business Development. He holds an undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Masters in Supply chain Management. Prior to joining the family business, he was working as a Quality Engineer in a Tier-1 Automotive components manufacturing unit and as a Management consultant specializing in Manufacturing Competitiveness & Sustainability serving a host of Fortune 500 companies and Maharatna category PSUs.
