Countryside Community Recycling was founded in 2009 as a for profit corporation. In 2010 we processed over 300 tons in scrap materials including salvaged auto&＃039;s, ferrous, and non-ferrous metals. In late 2011, Countryside set out on a new strategic path with the goal of becomming the premeire recycler in Mount Airy, Maryland with nationwide reach and global capabilities. Since embarking on this new direction, Countryside has processed 120 tons of electronic waste and increased revenue by 200% We have expanded our corporate portfolio with the capability of recycling 500 tons of materials per year to include metals, paper goods, cardboard&＃039;s, textiles, electronics, and much much more! As of May 2012, we are providing recycling services to several municipal organizations and corporate contracts. At Countryside we seek to improve our community and the world by educating corporations and the general public on the importance of recycling and diverting thousands of tons of waste from the landfills back into the re-manufacturing process.
