Dongbu Farming Association (Chunhyang Gol Mat Kimchi)

The Chunhyang-gol valley is ranked as one of the top vegetable producing areas in Korea. Nature helps ensure that the fields planted in the valley each year are of a high quality. Spring, summer and autumn in the Chunhyang-gol valley are filled with warm, sunny days and cool nights, the combination required for a perfect growing season. The soil in the valley is fertile with loose-packed loam. This enhances the quality of the product because vegetables grow on the ground and the soil must be able to easily allow for the greens' growth. The U.S. Forces Korea 18th Medical Command has inspected and approved sanitary procedures at the plant and has approved us as a source of procurement for the U.S. Forces, Korea. The Minister of Agriculture selected this facility as one of best plants in Korea. He designated the plant to receive the honorary award as the official symbol of the "Dongbu Farming Association."
