Business Description

Romex is one of the main coffee and cocoa exporters of Peru, involved in the whole value chain of these industries. Manage twelve strategically located sourcing centers across Peru. This enables traceability, transparency and direct contact with the farmers. We work side by side with thousands of coffee and cocoa farmers across the Andes Mountain Range and the Amazon Rainforest. *. Exportadora Romex S. A. was founded in Peru on May 25, 2009, following the spin-off of Romero Trading's coffee and cocoa businesses. Locally, we are committed to roasting 100% Peruvian coffee for our own coffee brands, such as Cafetal, which has been a leader in the ground roasted coffee category for over 55 years. Thanks to our high-quality standards, we serve demanding markets such as Europe, Asia, and North America. Locally, we produce and distribute our brands Cafetal, Premium Coffee 338, and Innato Chocolates. This network enables us to source the finest beans and maintain our quality standards through a robust traceability system. We collaborate closely with farmers and farmer associations by providing financing, training, and technical assistance, helping them achieve greater benefits from their crops. We have 12 collection offices nationwide in the main coffee and cocoa areas

Business Overview

Avg Response Time

In the cosmetics and confectionery industries, natural butters like cocoa and shea are commonly used for their moisturizing and emollient properties. EXPORTADORA ROMEX SA offers a wide range of these natural butters, including cocoa butter, shea butter, cocoa paste, coconut butter, and cocoa powder — a strong selection that appeals to buyers in skincare and food manufacturing. The lack of verified documents, work email, phone number, or account email raises concerns about the company’s legitimacy and ability to fulfill orders reliably. Buyers should request additional proof, such as a business license or product samples, before placing any large orders. Without clear verification, it's difficult to trust the company's operations or communication channels, which increases the risk of miscommunication or non-delivery.
