Business Description

INTRODUCTION TO EFFICIENT MICROBES (EM)EM is a natural, probiotic technology developed for over 25 years around the world. Its efficacy is far superior to most biological products available in that it is made up of three classes of bacteria, as opposed to the usual single-strain bacterial products. One of the major benefits of EM is that it not only consumes toxins and eliminates pathogens, but also, through its extremely powerful probiotic qualities, promotes health and life. Thus, it is also used widely in the fields of agriculture, livestock and human health. The microbes in EM are non-harmful, non-pathogenic, not-genetically-engineered or modified (non-GMO) , and not-chemically-synthesized. The basic groups of microorganisms in EM are lactic acid bacteria (commonly found in yogurt, cheeses) , yeast (bread, beer) , and phototrophic bacteria ("cousins" of blue-green algae) . The microorganisms in EM are known to produce bioactive substances, vitamins, hormones, enzymes, amino acids, and antibiotics. EM directly enhances plant growth and produces high yielding crops, which are drought, frost, pest and disease resistant without the need of any agricultural chemicals. EM can also be used to create an environment where grease, mould, rust do not thrive due to the ant oxidative properties of EM. EM consists of a wide variety of effective, beneficial, non-pathogenic aerobic and anaerobic micro organisms cultured in diluted molasses that are mutually compatible with one another. One of the most important concepts of EM is not the overall number of microorganisms present but the interactive relationship between the different species. Recent developments in EM Technology indicate that the beneficial effects of EM can be extended considerably beyond agriculture and the environment largely because of the antioxidant potential of EM cultures. Based on research and development activities in many countries, EM is increasingly viewed as a means of providing solutions to many problems of food production, depletion of natural resources, environmental pollution, food safety and nutrition, and human and animal health. EM has been used successfully to: Improve soil quality and the growth, yield and quality of crops; Effectively handle malodours associated with livestock production; Enhance the health, growth and market weight of swine and poultry when used as a probiotic food additive; Break down solid and liquid waste, helping to eliminate smell and disease. Handle 90-100% of malodours found in waste sites, waste water, drains and pit-latrines. Greatly Enhance human health through the use of EM as a probiotic. Around the house, EM can be used for household cleaner, for use in kitchens, bathrooms, laundry equipment and to assist in the control of pet odours and waste; Improve the quality and shelf life of fruit and vegetables. All of these applications of EM technology are cost-effective and accepted by environmentalists and consumers around the world. The programs on EM undertaken in over 60 countries show its success. The initial research undertaken in agriculture paved the way for case studies and large-scale use of EM in a diverse range of environments. These include laboratory scale identification of the microbes and their role in the DPR Korea, to the use of the solution in crop production in over 500, 000 hectares in the same country. It is used in the USA, Europe, Africa, Asia, Mid and South America and Oceania in a multitude of ways. The reports from these projects highlight successes. The important aspect has been its use by practitioners, who adopt technologies due to proven successes and not research reports.

Business Overview

In the health and household products space, suppliers with verified contact details are trusted more by buyers because they reduce the risk of scams or miscommunication. Efficient Microbes, based in South Africa and founded in 2006, has been operating for nearly two decades, which suggests experience in market trends and customer needs. However, the lack of verification on work email, phone, and business documents raises concerns about legitimacy and responsiveness. Buyers should request additional proof, such as a company registration or a product sample, before placing large orders. The product range covering health, cleaning, and animal feed shows a broad market reach, but without verified contact, it's hard to assess reliability or shipping timelines. This makes due diligence essential when engaging with Efficient Microbes.
