Equatorial Business Group

Most trading companies based in Ethiopia operate through regional hubs like Addis Ababa, but Equatorial Business Group is focused on Djibouti Port — a key gateway for East African trade routes. This gives them a strategic advantage in moving goods to key markets like China, Iraq, and the United States via the Red Sea corridor. Being a trading company means they likely source and repackage goods, which can reduce lead times for buyers looking for ready-to-ship inventory. The fact that only the account email is verified raises a red flag — buyers should request additional documentation to confirm business legitimacy. Using FOB terms means the buyer is responsible for shipping costs and insurance after the goods are loaded at Djibouti Port, which can affect cost planning. While the company has clear export destinations, the lack of document verification makes it harder to trust their operations without further due diligence.
