Business Description

Our company dates back to 1871. In those days, there were thousands of farmers in the Netherlands, all operating independently. They delivered the milk from their cows to private factories or used it to make cheese or butter on their own farms. It was hard work for the female farmers, as they took on the largest share of the work. Their situation was quite desperate. They bought a building, two cheese vats and a scale, and they appointed a cheese maker. That is how the first official collaboration between farmers began. Something similar happened in Warga, a village in the province of Friesland, where a group of farmers united in a cooperative. The first cooperative in the province of Limburg was founded in a village called Tungelroy in 1882. They kept the proceeds of their collaboration for themselves. It helped to raise many farmers out of poverty. The process of collaboration triggered major advancements regarding people, ideas and technology. A flourishing time began for hundreds of cooperatives and private businesses. Through mergers and collaborations, most of them have been incorporated into what is now FrieslandCampina. The company's profits are still paid out to the owners of the company: our member dairy farmers

Business Overview

FRIESLANDCAMPINA DAIRY SOURCING NEDERLAND is a well-known global player in dairy sourcing, so its product range — including milk powder, MBM, and whey powder — suggests it serves large-scale buyers in food manufacturing. Unlike smaller suppliers who may lack formal verification, this company has no verified work email, phone, or documents, which raises concerns about transparency and legitimacy. While the company name signals credibility due to its association with FrieslandCampina, a major dairy brand, the lack of verification on key contact points means buyers should treat the profile with caution. Without annual turnover or workforce data, it's hard to assess its scale or operational capacity. Buyers should request additional proof, such as a business license or recent invoice, before placing any large orders. This gap in verification is common among some large firms that may not list all details publicly, but it still increases risk for new buyers.
