British owned Gästehaus am Berg offers friendly and comfortable bed and breakfast accommodation in the wonderfully relaxing scenic region of the Bavarian Forest in Southern Germany. Its 13 bedrooms are each well equipped with LED flat-screen TV with DVD player, complimentary tea, coffee and mineral water, as well as free WiFi internet access, free parking and free local public transport. The guest-lounge has wonderful views over the village of Bayerisch Eisenstein to the Bavarian Forest and Sumava National-parks. In winter the ski slopes of Grosser Arber as well as the numerous cross-country ski trails are only a few minutes away. It's ideally placed for a few days rest and relaxation en-route between the historic cities of Munich and Prague. Or for a longer break to explore the scenery, culture and heritage of the Bavaria/Bohemia border region.
