Business Description

Founded in 1958 by Swiss immigrant Hans Epprecht as a small business that delivered cheese to local neighborhoods in Cleveland, Ohio, Great Lakes Cheese today manufactures and distributes processed and natural cheeses and sells imported cheeses to retailers and food service operations nationally through seven plants across the U. S. Great Lakes Cheese is an award-winning, premier manufacturer and packager of natural and processed bulk, shredded, and sliced cheeses. The company has a national footprint with facilities in Ohio, New York, Tennessee, Utah, Wisconsin, and one under construction in Texas. Thank you to our employee-owners whose hard work and dedication has allowed us to continue our legacy of quality and excellence for over 65 years. Business Overview

Cheese products like Cheddar and cold-pack cheese are in high demand across North America and Europe, especially in retail and food service channels. GREAT LAKES CHEESE CO. INC offers a diverse range including specialty forms like cheese sand, which can appeal to niche markets such as snack food or gourmet packaging. The lack of verified work email, phone number, and business documents raises concerns about the company's legitimacy and ability to handle large or long-term orders. Buyers should request additional verification before committing to any purchase or inquiry. Without staff count or annual turnover, it's hard to assess the company's scale or stability. These missing details may suggest limited operational transparency, which could impact trust and negotiation confidence.
