Business Overview

Most suppliers in the frankincense and honey market are based in regions like Oman, India, or China, where production is well-documented and regulated. Gaas Frankincense Co., founded in 2003 in Somalia, operates in a less common geographic area with fewer established trade records. The lack of verified phone, work email, or business documents raises concerns about legitimacy and communication reliability — a key risk for buyers looking to source consistently. While frankincense oil, incense sticks, bee honey, and livestock are core products, sourcing from Somalia may involve longer logistics and less predictable supply chains. Buyers should verify the company's operations independently before placing large orders. Without email or document verification, it's hard to confirm product quality or compliance with international standards. This makes Gaas Frankincense Co. a higher-risk option compared to more established suppliers in traditional frankincense-producing regions.
