GARDINER MANAGEMENT CONSULTING LLC is a U.S.-based consulting company with a presence in Sao Paulo Brazil that provides management, business affairs, corporate development and business development consulting services to companies and individuals wanting to do business in Brazil.

The company's principal, John Gardiner, has been doing business in Brazil since 1999 when he was an executive at America Online and opened AOL's business operations there and managed business and corporate development. He registered the local AOL companies, set up offices, ensured compliance with labor, tax and licensing laws, and organized the company's first local hires. He also hired the company's local legal counsel and accountants. He localized all company agreements and ensured that the company's intellectual property was registered and protected. While a senior executive, his team completed nearly 1,000 transactions and generated millions of reais (R$) and dollars (US$) in revenues. Transactions included joint ventures, strategic marketing transactions, equity purchases and sales, and network transactions.

Since leaving AOL, he has continued doing business consulting start-up companies, consulting Brazilian companies doing business in the U.S. and foreign companies doing business in Brazil. John Gardiner has a B.A. from University of Notre Dame, a M.Sc. from the London School of Economics and a J.D. from the University of Notre Dame.
