Business Overview

Most gemstone suppliers are based in countries like India or China, where production is large-scale and cost-effective. Gemologist On Call, founded in 2001, has over two decades of experience, which suggests deep industry knowledge and reliability. Their focus on opal gemstones — a niche and high-value product — sets them apart from general suppliers. The lack of verified phone, work email, or business documents raises concerns about legitimacy and responsiveness. Buyers should verify the company's identity and request additional proof before placing large orders. While the origin is the United States, which is less common for gemstone production, it may offer better quality control or ethical sourcing. Without clear verification, buyers may face delays or fraud risks when dealing with this supplier.
