Business Description
In 1938, Sidney and David ringelheim came to bridgeport and opened a storefront on middle street, selling restaurant supplies. Business was difficult due to the the war in the early 40s. By 1945 and the end of the war, business improved and globe was incorporated in 1946. In 1967, David ringelheim sold his interest to Sidney, and that year, sidneys son, Paul, joined the business. Three years later, sidneys other son, jay also joined globe and the growth continued. Jay continues with the principles and direction that has made this business successful since 1938.
