Hiniduma organic

The Hiniduma Bio Link Society (HBLS) was formed in 2015 by The Conservation Carbon Company (CCC). It is a community-based organization. The 'Hiniduma Bio-Link' is a project to establish a biodiversity corridor between two rainforest patches. It aims to reduce pressure on remaining rainforests while enhancing the livelihoods of local communities. The project promotes eco-friendly livelihood options like organic farming and analogue forestry. It involves planting native and endemic rainforest species and fruit and medicinal trees. The project has been certified to the Plan Vivo standard since July 2012. The Hiniduma Bio-Link project was initiated in February 2010 with 15 poor rural Tea growers.
