Incorporated in 1956 as a Private Limited Company, Hooseini Metal Rolling Mill Pvt Ltd has been a mainstay in the Indian Non-Ferrous Metals Markets for over three generations.
The original founder of the company, the late Sheikh Gulamally Shamsuddin Tambawala, was also the founder President of the Bombay Metal Exchange Ltd (www.bme.in/profile.htm) an apex body of Non-Ferrous Metals Trade & Industry in India.
The company operates several Hot and Cold rolling mills in Mumbai where it produces non-ferrous sheet metal. Lead and Zinc sheets are a particular focus.
Our Lead Sheets are further processed in-house and fabricated into Lead Anodes used extensively by the Electrowinning Industry. Our Lead Anode business has been a source of pride for the company. We currently provide Lead Anodes to several big and small entities involved in the Primary Production of Copper, Cobalt, and Zinc.
Our Zinc Sheets are used not only by the Photo-Engraving Industry but also are further processed and cut into Zinc Callots that are supplied to dry-cell battery manufacturers.
