Hyundai Metal Co., Ltd.

In 1982, Hyundai Metal is founded and started chrome plating business for other chair factories within Korea. In 1991, moved to current location in Ansan City, an hour off from metro Seoul, and continued chrome plating business till present. In 1994, started to run metalwork production line of our own and established 2nd factory in Korea. In 2000, established PATRA corp. as overseas sales department and our first visitor chair Amigo was introduced to the market.   In 2001, new stacking chair STING is introduced at NeoCon show to meet customer's demand on new design, and followed by new introduction of nesting chair MARTIN in 2002.   In 2003, established factories in Qingdao, China and started to produce finished chairs by October.In July 2003, Hyundai Metal is transformed to corporation from private company. In 2005, BIFMA testing equipment is installed to provide high quality products to our customers.   In 2006, Head Office is moved to newly established Seoul office building where Design, R&D and Overseas Sales departments and Showroom are based.
