Imperials roots lie in the Missouri Paper Stock Company, which was founded in 1914. With the growth of the business, the name was changed in 1966 to Imperial Paper Stock Company to reflect the national outlook of the Company. Over this long span, the Company has established itself as an important recycler of waste paper and plastics to customers throughout the world. The Company services a wide variety of concerns such as box manufacturers, printers, folding carton manufacturers, automotive plants, department stores, bag manufacturers, insurance companies, banks and government agencies, to mention a few. The waste paper dealership that began in 1914, is today, a Corporation with millions in sales, moving thousands of tons of waste paper and plastics, with a list of long-time customers throughout the world. Financial stability is as important to our Customers as it is to Imperial, and in this respect, Imperial is very strong.None of this is meant to suggest that Imperial Paper Stock Company is to be considered in the same light as the giants who cast such a long shadow across the waste paper industry. Imperial is not in that category and does not aspire to be. It is a Company with long established commitments, reaching from the past into the future.
