The business of 0John Lanham Watts Carpets has been selling Axminster in the UK since 1978 and we have unrivalled expertise in sourcing and project managing quality Axminster Carpet production world-wide.In 2011 we seized the option of joining forces with our best Axminster supplier Rizhao Griffiths Textile Co. This has given us access to the huge capacity, skills and financial strength of our parent company. The factory currently has 25 electronic jacquard gripper broadlooms with capacity to make any design with up to 16 bespoke colours. There are also two 0.91m narrow looms. Our backing plant involves a large diameter steam drum which is essential for the dimensional stability in the carpet design. Our shearing machine is a Sellers of Huddersfield widely recognised as the finest in the industry.Our approach is simple. We just want to provide the best product at the best price to get the largest number of happy customers. We hate to say no to any customers request and the impossible is just something that has not been done yet.You can source a completely bespoke carpet from us for a quality as small as 1 roll (100sqm). This carpet can be unique in terms of design and most importantly colour. You are not restricted to a standard colour bank as you can be with our competitors.
