Lite-On Semiconductor Corp. (previously known as Dyna Image) was established in 1990, with a focus in manufacturing and marketing Contact Image Sensor (CIS). It merged Lite-On Power Semiconductor, a Discrete Company in year 2000, started the Analog IC development in 2004, it further acquired Antek to gain access to its 6 inch fab capacity etc and built a complete and solid foundation for its total power management solution pursuit in 2005. LSC is divided into two major business units, namely Semiconductor and Imaging . The semiconductor related products include Discrete and Analog IC products, which contributed more than 70% of sales in 1H 2010. Imaging related products including CiS products that are mainly applied on MFP. LSC is the top three Discrete supplier in Taiwan and we are one of the most important global CiS supplier. LSCâ??s head quarter is in Taipei, Hsin Tien and our production network include : Taiwan, China and the Philippines. Our Imaging products are assembled in China Wuxi and the Philippines, Semiconductor Components are produced in Taiwan Keelung, China Wuxi & Shanghai sites and our foundry business is based in the Hsin Chu Science park. The company also owns about 20% of Diodes Inc (Nasdaq listed : DIOD), which is a leading global manufacturer and supplier of high quality application specific standard products within the broad discrete and semiconductor markets.
