SHAOGUAN MEIHUA POWER SOURCE CO.,LTD (MEIHUA BATTERY) was founded in 2008, and has grown significantly over the past decade. The factory covers 100 acres, with over 50,000 square meters of standardized workshops, representing a total investment of over 200 million yuan. It employs over 500 people. Currently, it has an annual production capacity of 2 million KVAH valve-regulated sealed lead-acid batteries (VRLA batteries) and battery plates. Its products are widely used in key national projects such as telecommunications, power, railways, banking, and the national backbone network. In September 2010, the company established a research and development base in cooperation with renowned domestic universities. This base focuses on the research and development of advanced battery production processes, including solar energy storage batteries, deep-cycle batteries, gel batteries, automated casting and welding processes, internal formation processes, and continuous rolling and casting. Through this university-enterprise cooperation, the company promotes the construction of an integrated research platform combining production, education, and research, as well as a national-level common technology research and development platform; accelerating the research and development of new materials, new processes, and new products to improve the technological level of the battery industry. We have established a municipal-level enterprise technology center and invested in advanced R&D, production, testing, and experimental equipment.
