The foundations of MM Group were laid by our esteemed Chairman Mahmood Baqi Moulvi over four decades ago, humbly beginning with the provision of marine agency services. His vision to expand his business empire continued to grow and slowly take life over the years. Under his leadership the group diversified into owning and chartering vessels, importing seeds and exporting rice, setting up a securities firm, developing a seed crushing plant and an oil refinery, constructing storage terminals at port, producing flour and cooking oil for local sale, initiating a digital news platform and more. In 2018 Mahmood Moulvi entered the political arena and went on to be serve as the first Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Maritime Affairs. In 2022 he was elected as Member of National Assembly. With his insightful policies he continues to guide the group towards prosperity.
