Founded in 1987, MONTI Werkzeuge GmbH of Bonn, Germany engineered and manufacturers the MBX® family of surface preparation technologies including the MBX® Bristle Blaster® Industrial and MBX® Metal Blaster® surface preparation system. A hand-held power tool (pneumatic or electric driven) removes corrosion, coatings and mill scale while simultaneously generating an anchor profile typically averaging 3.0 mils on API 5L (a typical petrochemical carbon steel piping material).
