We believe that taking a warm soothing bath whenever you feel like it, is a necessity and a right that should be enjoyed by all of us, not a luxury enjoyed only by the privileged. Our goal is to help people maintain their independenceand allow people to remain in their homes as long as possible.The Handi-Bath 3000 can be easily installed by a qualified plumber almost anywhere, by using your existing plumbing. Installation times do vary.The Handi-Bath drains much quicker than the old 60 long bathtubs because the Handi-Bath is shorter and deeper. The additional water pressure from the depth helps it to drain quicker. We have timed it at aprox. 2.5minutes. Wall mounted electric heaters or recessed heat lamps can easily be installed into the bathroom for minimal expense. Government grants are also being approved for Handi-Bath for low income seniors. The tub shell is supported on a stainless steel tubular frame on five adjustable legs. This allows us to surface run the drain from the Handi-Bath above the floor and connect into the existing floor drain and p-trap without opening or modifying the floor. The Handi-Bath 3000 comes completely pre-plumbed with braided hot and cold water lines with a half-inch female connection.
